Best time to visit the &Beyond Klein’s Camp Northern Serengeti
June and July are generally considered the best months for visiting the Serengeti to see the annual Great Wildebeest Migration, with August and September seeing plenty of action along the banks of the Mara River. However, the Northern Serengeti can be visited throughout the year, with large populations of zebra, topi, impala, giraffe and buffalo coming and going.
Light rains are usually experienced across the region from November through to March while March to May is marked by heavier downpours. While this can cause some disruptions to travel plans, it results in exceptional birdwatching as migratory species flock from Europe and Asia to the region’s lush, green landscapes.
