Best time to visit the Roving Bushtops and Seronera

June and July are the best months to visit Roving Bushtops in the Seronera region if you want to see the annual Great Wildebeest Migration in full swing. The rainy season has just ended, so the landscapes are still a lush green and at their most photogenic. By late July, the herds have moved into the Northern Serengeti but return to the Seronera region again around October/November. Between December and mid-April, the migration herds head south to the Kusini region where they give birth to their young, with Roving Bushtops camp following them.

The Serengeti usually experiences light rains from November through to March, however, this is usually just a short downpour and is followed by clear, sunny skies. Heavier downpours occur between March and May, and although this might not create the best conditions for game driving, you will benefit from exceptional birdwatching as migratory species flock from Europe and Asia.
