Introduction

About Chobe National Park

Home to some of Africa’s largest herds of elephants, Chobe National Park lies in the far north of Botswana, just across the border from Namibia’s Caprivi Strip. It has garnered a reputation as one of Southern Africa’s top wildlife viewing destinations, with huge numbers of wildlife gathering along the banks of the Chobe River to refuel during the dry season.

Sprawling to the south are seasonal floods plans and mopane woodlands where zebras, wildebeests and lions thrive, while the Savuti Marsh is a twitchers wonderland due to its abundance of bird species. In addition to game drive safaris, Chobe National Park is renowned for its boat safaris, offering a completely different wildlife viewing perspective.

Chat with our Africa safari experts about crafting a personalised itinerary to Chobe National Park and beyond. It can easily be combined with a luxury stay in the Okavango Delta or a side trip to the majestic Victoria Falls
