One of the most beautiful and economically important cities in Tanzania, the coastal city of Dar Es Salaam is situated in a quiet bay off the Indian Ocean coast blessed with serene beaches and clear azure water. It was founded way back in 1862 by Sultan of Zanzibar, Seyyid Majid, on the site of a village.
