1 Night - Arusha

Fly into the Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be met by your driver and transferred to Arusha for overnight. Take time to settle into your accommodation and overcome any jet lag, then enjoy dinner at the lodge’s restaurant.

2 Nights - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll begin the drive to Tarangire National Park, which is famed for boasting the largest concentration of elephants in the world. It also has a staggering population of breeding bird species, with more than 550 having been recorded here. During the dry season, Tarangire National Park is a wildlife paradise, with sightings of big cats such as lions, cheetahs and leopards, as well as more elusive species such as kudu, oryx and gerenuk. After an exhilarating day’s game drive, you’ll head to the camp in the late afternoon where you can freshen up before dinner is served.

Next day wake early for a morning game drive through Tarangire National Park while the wildlife is at its most active, with a picnic breakfast served along the way. Keep your eyes peeled for four of the Big Five, as well as the unique tree-climbing pythons that inhabit the reserve. You’ll return to the camp for lunch, then depart on a two-hour walking safari to get a completely different perspective on this wilderness area. Track wildlife on foot and experience the bush as the animals would see it through sight, sound and smell. In the late afternoon, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner, then head out again after dark for a night game drive. This is an exciting opportunity to discover some of Tarangire’s nocturnal species, including porcupines, pangolin and aardvark.

1 Night - Lake Manyara National Park

After a hearty breakfast at Oliver’s Camp, you’ll begin the day with a walking tour through the rural town of Mto wa Mbu, which is unique in that it’s home to more than 120 different tribal groups. Experience the colour and diversity of languages and customs as you explore the town’s banana plantations and rice fields, as well as a local brewery, a school and a carving workshop. You’ll then continue driving to Lake Manyara National Park, which centres around a large soda lake that’s fringed by long-legged flamingos. On a game drive here, you’ll get to see the park’s large population of baboons, together with giraffes, elephants, hippos, zebras and elephants. Keep an eye out for the park’s unique tree-climbing lions and enjoy the exceptional birdlife and spectacular views for which Lake Manyara is renowned. In the late afternoon, you’ll continue driving to the lodge where you’ll have time to freshen up before dinner is served.

2 Nights - Serengeti National Park

Today you’ll experience the iconic Serengeti National Park, which is considered one of the best places in Africa to spot the Big Five (lion, elephant, leopard, rhino and buffalo). It’s home to a staggering number of species, particularly during the annual Great Wildebeest Migration that traverses the park en route to new pastures in the Maasai Mara. Depending on the time of year you’re visiting, you may get to witness this incredible natural spectacle as millions of wildebeest and zebras (followed by opportunistic predators) make this long journey. In the late afternoon, you’ll continue to the  Lodge where dinner will be served.

Spend another day experiencing the mighty Serengeti on morning and afternoon game drives. Aside from being home to the Big Five, the park also provides a habitat for cheetah, hyena, giraffes and ostriches. Aardvarks, pangolins and porcupines can also be seen here, together with spitting cobras, black mambas and pythons. After an unforgettable day of wildlife viewing, return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation.

1 Night - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast at your lodge, begin the drive towards the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed landscape that shelters around 30,000 animals. The crater walls act as a natural enclosure for zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest and warthogs, as well as elephants, baboons, cheetahs and lions (not to mention the endangered black rhino). Aside from its wildlife richness, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is renowned for its natural beauty and has been identified as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. In the late afternoon, you’ll depart the crater and drive to the Lodge where you’ll enjoy a leisurely dinner and overnight.

Today you’ll return to Arusha in time for lunch at the Gran Melia Hotel before continuing on to the Siringit Villa. It affords magnificent views of Mount Meru and the iconic peak of Mount Kilimanjaro to the north, as well as sweeping panoramas of the Maasai Steppe to the south. Take time to soak up this natural majesty before dinner is served.

With carefully tended fairways and stunning views, you’ll soon understand why. Return to the Siringit Villa at the end of your game, with plenty of time to relax before dinner.
