3 Nights - Grumeti Serengeti
On arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be
greeted by a Vencha representative and transferred to the domestic terminal for
your flight to the Serengeti. Here you’ll be met by another representative for
the scenic drive to the Sabora Tented Camp. Exuding the romance and elegance of
a bygone era, settle into your en-suite tent, furnished with Persian rugs,
Zanzibari chests and delicate crystal.
NB: Same-day domestic flight transfers are only available for international flights arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport before 1 pm. Later arrivals will require you to overnight in Arusha before a connecting flight the next morning or you have the option to take a private charter flight to the Serengeti on the same day. After breakfast at the Sabora Tented Camp, you’ll embark on a full-day game drive through the wildlife-filled plains of the Grumeti Serengeti. With the assistance of a knowledgeable local guide, spot a variety of wild animals in their natural habitat. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the middle of the day before returning to the camp with time to freshen up before dinner is served.
Begin the day with breakfast at the Sabora Tented Camp, then head out on an exhilarating half-day game drive through the Grumeti Serengeti, perhaps spotting some of the animals you missed the previous day. Return to the camp in time for lunch and spend the afternoon at your leisure enjoying the facilities or catching up on some reading. In the late afternoon, head out on another game drive as the sun slowly sets before returning to the camp for a gourmet dinner and a night of stargazing.
