Wild Kenyan Adventure

After breakfast at the Sasaab, you’ll be driven to nearby Buffalo Springs Airstrip for your flight to the Maasai Mara where you’ll be staying at Sala’s Camp, a tented accommodation that elegantly combines tradition with comfort. Spend two days exploring the iconic Maasai Mara on early morning and late afternoon game drives when the animals are at their most active.  You can return to the camp for lunch or opt for a bush lunch to spend the entire day out in the wilds. Back at the camp, you’ll enjoy stunning views from the hammocks that hang outside each of the tents and the opportunity to embark on guided walks through the surrounding bush. End your days with sundowners and evening game drives to witness some of the area’s nocturnal species.   

It’s time to say goodbye to the Maasai Mara on a flight to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport, from where you’ll be taken to the Giraffe Manor. Here you’ll be met by the resident Rothschild's giraffes who freely roam the grounds that surround this classic manor house. While the giraffes are wild, they like to interact with guests, offering an experience like no other. 

After lunch at the Giraffe Manor, pay a visit to the Giraffe Centre or head to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to get up close to their orphaned elephants and rhinoceros. Also worth visiting is the Karen Blixen Museum, which offers an insight into the life of the “Out of Africa” author, with the opportunity to purchase artisan souvenirs along the way.
