From the Serengeti to the Seychelles

After breakfast at the lodge, you’ll be transferred to Arusha Airport to catch your morning flight to the Serengeti. On arrival, you’ll be met by another of our representatives and enjoy a short game drive en route to the Four Seasons Safari Lodge where you’ll spend the next few nights. 

Begin the day with breakfast at the Four Seasons Serengeti, then prepare for a full day of wildlife spotting in the central Serengeti. Depending on the time of year, your safari guide will take you to the region that’s likely to offer the best animal encounters to coincide with the annual wildebeest migration. 

From December to April, the southern Serengeti and Ndutu areas are the places to head to see the wildebeest calving, with predators never far away. If you’re visiting from May to early July, the wildebeest will most likely be mating in the dense, hilly woodlands of the Western Corridor before crossing the crocodile-infested Grumeti River. At some times of the year, the rich grasslands of the Togoro Plains to the north of the Four Seasons Serengeti becomes a hotspot for big cats. 

Wake before sunrise for an optional hot air balloon safari to slowly float above the wildlife-dotted Serengeti as the sun illuminates the landscape with the day’s first rays. Afterward, you’ll be treated to a champagne breakfast in the heart of the wilderness. You can then decide whether you want to continue on a full-day or half-day game drive before returning to the Four Seasons Safari Lodge when you desire.

After breakfast at the Four Seasons Safari Lodge, it’s time to check out and drive towards the southern Serengeti and the Kusini Tented Camp where you’ll spend the night. It’s set around a cluster of kopjes (rocky outcrops) and offers a front-row seat as the annual Great Wildebeest Migration traverses the surrounding plains. 

Begin the day with breakfast at the Kusini Tented Camp before departing for the Ngorongoro Crater to explore its UNESCO World Heritage-listed landscapes. Descend into the crater to spot herds of zebra, wallowing hippos, lions and giraffes, with a picnic lunch served in the heart of the crater. Then continue to Arusha where you’ll again be staying at the Arusha Coffee Lodge. 

After breakfast at the Arusha Coffee Lodge, depart for Kilimanjaro International Airport for your morning flight to Seychelles, travelling via Nairobi. You’ll arrive in the late afternoon and be met by one of our representatives who’ll transfer you to the Four Seasons Seychelles where you’ll spend the next three nights.
