From the Maasai Mara to Ngorongoro Crater

On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be greeted by a Vencha representative and transported to the Wilson Airport for your scheduled SafariLink flight to the Masai Mara. From here, you’ll be transferred to Mara Bushtops where you’ll spend the next two nights. Settle into your en-suite tent with both indoor and outdoor showers, then take advantage of the heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and Amani African Spa. Your stay includes all meals, daily games drives and private conservancy fees, as well as beverages, laundry and complimentary Wi-Fi. The Masai Mara National Reserve is renowned for its exceptional wildlife viewing experiences, with the opportunity to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration at select times of the year. Meet the Maasai tribal people and experience the wildlife spectacle as the herds of wildebeest and zebras attempt to cross the crocodile-filled Mara River. 

After breakfast at Mara Bushtops, you’ll be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled SafariLink flight to the Migori Airstrip. Here you will be met by one of our representatives and driven across the border to the Tarime Airstrip for your scheduled flight to the Seronera Airstrip in the Serengeti. Your guide from the Nyaruswiga Safari Camp will greet you, ready for your journey through the endless plains of what is Tanzania’s most famous national park. It’s renowned for its part in the Great Wildebeest Migration, with this epic, seasonal journey seeing millions of wildebeest, zebras and opportunistic predators migrating in search of fresh grazing pastures. You’ll spend three nights in a chalet at the Nyaruswiga Safari Camp, including all meals, daily games drives, select beverages and complimentary Wi-Fi. Spend your days roaming through the sprawling plains on exhilarating game drives and take to the skies for an optional hot-air balloon safari to experience the Serengeti at sunrise.

After breakfast at the Nyaruswiga Safari Camp, you will be transferred back to the Seronera Airstrip in time for your scheduled flight to the Manyara Airstrip. Upon arrival, you will be met by a Vencha Travel representative and driven to The Manor where you will spend the next two nights in one of their luxurious cottages. Located within the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, The Manor is a magnificent setting for exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is home to more than 30,000 animals. It’s renowned not only for its excellent game viewing but also its stunning natural beauty, with lush highlands nestled within an ancient caldera. Witness black rhinos, giant-tusked elephants and black-maned lions during daily game drives, as well as long-legged flamingos feeding in the shallow soda lakes.

Following breakfast at The Manor, you will be transferred to the Manyara Airstrip for your scheduled light aircraft flight to Arusha Airport. Here you will be met by a member of the Vencha Travel team and transferred to the Arusha Coffee Lodge where you can relax and freshen up in a day room before heading to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your outbound flight. If time allows, spend the afternoon exploring the attractive town of Arusha, which nestles beneath the towering peaks of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. It’s considered the safari capital of Tanzania, with excellent restaurants, bars and markets to explore. Stop in at the National Natural History Museum and explore the surrounding coffee plantations or visit the small but magnificent Arusha National Park. Those feeling adventurous can continue from here up the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro to trek what is Africa’s highest peak.
