Hidden Corners of the Northern Circuit

You’ll be greeted by a Vencha representative at your hotel in Arusha and transported by a private 4x4 vehicle to Tarangire National Park. One of the largest national parks in Tanzania, this sanctuary is renowned for its huge elephant population and majestic baobab trees that frame the savanna. You’ll spend the night at the luxury Maramboi Tented Camp, which boasts magnificent views across the Great Rift Valley.

Begin the day with an early morning walk around the Maramboi Tented Camp before breakfast is served, then depart for a game drive through Lake Manyara National Park. After a picnic lunch in the park, continue driving to Karatu where you’ll have the opportunity to visit a local market as part of a cultural tour. Spend the night at the Kitela Lodge, which epitomises African elegance.

After breakfast at the Kitela Lodge, you’ll descend into the wildlife-filled Ngorongoro Crater. Spot herds of zebra, wallowing hippos, lions and giraffes as you experience the incredible natural beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage-listed landscape and its vast grasslands. After a picnic lunch, you’ll return to the Kitela Lodge, with time to freshen up before dinner is served.
