Tanzania Safari and Zanzibar Beach Rejuvenation

Begin the day with a delicious breakfast at the Park Hyatt before transferring to the Zanzibar International Airport for your scheduled flight to the Serengeti with Coastal Aviation. On arrival at the Seronera Airstrip, you’ll be met by another of our representatives and transferred to the Four Seasons Safari Lodge where a sumptuous lunch awaits.  

In the afternoon, embark on a game drive to explore the wildlife-filled plains of the Serengeti, then return to the lodge with time to freshen up before dinner is served.

Wake before sunrise and head to the launch site for an unforgettable hot air balloon safari. Slowly float above the wildlife-dotted Serengeti as the sun illuminates the landscape with the day’s first rays, then travel into the heart of the wilderness for a champagne breakfast. You can then decide whether you want to continue on a full-day or half-day game drive before returning to the Four Seasons Safari Lodge when you desire.

After breakfast at the Four Seasons Serengeti, prepare for a half or full-day of wildlife spotting in the central Serengeti. Depending on the time of year, your safari guide will take you to the region that’s likely to offer the best animal encounters to coincide with the annual wildebeest migration. Return to the lodge whenever you’re ready and enjoy a farewell private dinner under the stars.

Check out of the Four Seasons Safari Lodge after breakfast and transfer to the Serengeti Airstrip while experiencing a game drive en route. After flying to Zanzibar International Airport, you’ll be met by one of our representatives and driven to the Tulia Luxury Resort. Positioned on an idyllic, white sandy beach, this upmarket resort boasts sparkling swimming pools and lush, tropical gardens that make it the perfect place to unwind after your safari.

After breakfast at the Tulia Luxury Resort, head into Stone Town to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is clustered with excellent museums and architectural landmarks. Then head to a nearby spice plantation to learn how spices are grown and sample some of the island’s delicious tropical fruits. Once you’re feeling satiated, return to the resort and spend the rest of the day at your leisure kicking back on the beach.

Spend your final day in Tanzania at your leisure, with a complimentary massage offered at the Tulia Luxury Resort. You may opt to explore the coral reefs that surround Zanzibar during a snorkelling or scuba diving trip, then watch the sunset during a traditional dhow cruise.
