Mbirikani is 275,000 acres owned near Chyulu Hills. 

The Maasailand Preservation Trust was founded in the 1980s by Richard Bonham, son of well-known game warden Jack Bonham. Over 40 years, Bonham has worked closely with Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) in defense againt poaching. His implementation of Black Rhino trusts garnered the Prince William Lifetime Achievement Award at Tusk awards. 

In collaboration with the National Geographic filmmakers the Jouberts, Ol Donyo is now run by the Great Plains Conservation.
