2 Nights - Tarangire National Park

Begin the day with a leisurely breakfast at your lodge and time to explore its picturesque grounds. Then head towards Tarangire National Park, one of Northern Tanzania’s underrated gems, to game drive through its baobab forests where vast herds of buffalos and elephants roam. Enjoy a picnic lunch beside the scenic Tarangire River while keeping your eyes peeled for wildebeest and giraffe. In the late afternoon, you’ll check into Oliver’s Camp, which was inspired by the trailblazing camps that pioneered the early days of safari. Take time to freshen up before dinner is served under the stars.

After breakfast at Oliver’s Camp, embark on a morning game drive through the spectacular landscapes of Tarangire National Park. Then return to the camp in time for lunch and an afternoon at your leisure to catch up on some reading or just soak up the majestic scenery.

In the late afternoon, stretch your legs on a 1.5-hour walk through the bush, led by Oliver’s Camps’ resident naturalist and a team of armed TANAPA rangers. On this walk, you’ll learn about the native flora and fauna species that are often overlooked on game drives. Return to the camp in time for sundowners and a delicious dinner.

2 Nights - Ngorongoro Crater

Begin the day with a hearty breakfast at Oliver’s Camp before driving to what is the world’s largest inactive volcanic crater - Ngorongoro. Spend the morning game driving through this UNESCO World Heritage-listed landscape and the open grasslands on the crater floor, which is home to an incredible amount of wildlife.
At the end of your game drive, you’ll head to The Highlands Camp on the slopes of the Olmoti volcano, which enjoys breathtaking views all the way to the Serengeti. It’s home to just eight canvas-and-glass domed suites inspired by the traditional Maasai bomas that dot the landscape.

After breakfast at The Highlands Camp, you’ll spend another day game driving through the wildlife-rich Ngorongoro Crater. Explore the 300-square-kilometre floor with the help of an experienced guide and stop for a picnic lunch beneath a shady tree. Our seven-seater enclosed vehicles are fitted with power points so you can recharge your devices, as well as a fridge where chilled drinks are stored.  At the end of the day, you’ll return to The Highlands Camp where a delicious dinner awaits.
