Splendour Singita Safari

On arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted by a Vencha representative and transported to Arusha where you’ll spend your first night at the Arusha Legendary Lodge. Take time to settle in and overcome any jet lag or enjoy a short stroll around the city to get your first taste of East Africa.

After breakfast at the Arusha Legendary Lodge, it’s time to leave the city behind as you board a short flight to the majestic Grumeti Serengeti, a privately held conservation area brimming with wildlife. Upon touching down, the adventure begins with a game drive en route to your accommodation at the luxurious Singita Faru Faru Lodge. With stunning views across the plains, this is the perfect base for exploring the iconic landscapes of the Serengeti region.  

Take time to relax and refresh in your spacious room before departing on another short game drive at 4 pm to spot wildlife as the day’s last rays illuminate the landscape. Once the sun has set, you’ll return to the lodge for a gourmet dinner and evening at your leisure. 

Begin the day early to witness the wildlife at its most active with a morning game drive into the bush. Enjoy breakfast immersed in your wild surrounds in what is an experience you’ll never forget. 

After an exhilarating morning spent game driving, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon making use of the lodge’s spa, fitness centre or infinity swimming pool. There’s the option to embark on a late-afternoon walking safari to get a different perspective on the bush or an additional game drive.

Enjoy a well-deserved sleep in and a day free to spend as you wish. Get a taste of the local culture during an optional community visit as part of Grumeti’s outreach program while learning about education, enterprise development and water management. Alternatively, you can just soak up the scenery from the privacy of your suite or kick back poolside.   

In the late afternoon, it’s time for a final game drive in the Grumeti Reserve, complete with a classic sundowner. Then return to the lodge for dinner served under the stars.

After breakfast at the Singita Faru Faru Lodge, you’ll be transferred to the local airstrip for your flight to Lake Manyara. One of our local representatives will pick you up on arrival and begin a wildlife-filled game drive into the Ngorongoro Crater.   

Experience the incredible natural beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage-listed landscape where herds of zebra, wallowing hippos and myriad birdlife can be seen. Explore this pristine wilderness area until dusks sets in when you’ll be transferred to the famous Gibbs Farm Lodge for the night.

Begin your final day in Tanzania with breakfast at Gibbs Farm Lodge featuring produce grown in the surrounding gardens. You’ll then be transported to the Arusha Cultural Heritage Centre to browse the artefacts on display and pick up souvenirs to take home.   

After lunch at the Coffee Lodge, you’ll be transported to the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your return flight home.
