Owned and operated by The Safari Collection, the Giraffe Manor is an exclusive boutique hotel set within a 1930s manor house. It’s famed for its herd of endangered giraffes who saunter freely through the 12-acre estate and its surrounding forest in the Langata suburb of Nairobi.
There are just 12 rooms at the Giraffe Manor to ensure an intimate experience, with only residents able to enjoy the unique dining experiences it offers with the resident giraffes. Elegant interiors, lush gardens and sunny terraces add to the experience of staying here, with many guests describing it as like walking into the film set from “Out of Africa”.

Dining experiences at the Giraffe Manor are a highlight of any stay, with the resident Rothschild’s giraffes often poking their long necks through the windows for a treat of nutritious dried grass pellets. Waking up for breakfast with the giraffes is always an incredible experience and reserved exclusively for guests at the hotel.
